Locations of the two GNSS sites SNSC and SSTS (yellow dots), and the corresponding reflection areas (red and yellow ellipses), which were approximated by the first Fresnel zone for a reflector height of 5 m for both SNSC and SSTS, respectively. The ellipses for each satellite track are the sensing zones for GPS/GLONASS observations for elevation angles 5° (longest ellipse), 8° (second ellipse), and 15° (shortest ellipse). The sensing zones in the figure were calculated at L1 frequency. We made the figures using Google Earth
